E foi sobretudo esta instalação no MOCCA - Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, chamada Granny Square Wreck Room que me chamou a atenção.

Neste site podem comprar-se presentes que contribuem bastante para a melhoria das condições de vida. Os presentes podem ser por exemplo, um filtro de água, que permitirá que uma família beba água descontaminada, 40 galinhas, um porco, um lugar numa escola, uma bicicleta para se poder deslocar para a escola, sapatos, sementes...

A Kiva, é uma organização que através do microcrédito, permite que se contribua com dinheiro, no sentido de ajudar alguém a sair da pobreza. Neste site pode também oferecer-se gift certificates de um determinado valor, e oferecê-los impressos a alguém, que depois poderá investir no negócio que decidir. Esta será a prenda da minha sobrinha neste Natal.
